Frequently asked questions
How do you refill a Clipper lighter?
With butane lighter gas, through the valve at the bottom. Our guide refilling a Clipper and replacing the flint shows each step.
Can you replace the flint of a Clipper?
Yes. The flint system slides out of the top and can be replaced, so a worn flint is no reason to throw the lighter away.
How big is a Clipper Large?
7.4 x 1.6 cm. The Clipper Micro is smaller: 6.3 x 1.4 cm.
Good to know
- Held at an angle, it gives a bigger flame.
- Keep it away from children and from heat above 50 °C.
Clipper comes from Barcelona and has made refillable lighters since 1971. More designs are in our Clipper lighters.
