Frequently asked questions
Which gas do you use in a gas lighter?
Refined butane lighter gas. Use clean gas and do not mix brands.
How do you refill a gas lighter?
Turn the flame to minimum, purge the leftover gas through the valve, then fill upside down in short bursts. Wait a few minutes afterwards. Every step is in Refilling a gas lighter.
Why does my gas lighter spark but not light after refilling?
The gas is still too cold or there is air in the tank. Wait a few minutes; if that fails, purge it and refill.
Good to know
- Keep it out of reach of children and out of direct sun
