Frequently asked questions
Which lighters can you fill with this lighter gas?
Refillable butane lighters and torches, such as turbo and jet lighters. Not fluid lighters such as a Zippo, and not USB or arc lighters: they have no gas tank.
Why does the lighter gas hiss, or the lighter not take any gas?
Usually the nozzle does not sit well on the valve: press it straight in, and use an adapter if the can comes with one. Purge the old gas from the lighter first. Our guide Refilling a gas lighter shows each step.
Good to know
- First set the lighter's flame to its lowest setting and let the remaining gas escape
- Hold the lighter upside down and press the can's nozzle straight onto the filling valve for a few seconds
- Wait a moment before using the lighter again
- Highly flammable: keep away from flames and heat, and out of reach of children
Lighters and accessories are in our lighters.
