About Champ High Creme Brulee Tataki Black
The Champ High Tataki is a refillable kitchen torch, a large turbo lighter with a blue jet flame. A torch for the kitchen: a gunmetal head with a ribbed nozzle and an adjustment knob, on a matt black grip with a wide foot so it stands upright on the worktop. The small photos show it browning food and heating metal fittings.

- Stands steady on its base
Frequently asked questions
Which gas do you use in a kitchen torch?
Refined butane lighter gas. The nozzle is very fine, so use clean gas and do not mix brands.
How do you refill a kitchen torch?
Turn the flame to minimum, purge the leftover gas through the valve, then fill upside down in short bursts. Wait a few minutes afterwards. Every step is in Refilling a gas lighter.
Why does my kitchen torch spark but not light after refilling?
The gas is still too cold or there is air in the tank. Wait a few minutes; if that fails, purge it and refill.
Good to know
- Let the nozzle cool before putting it away and never point the flame at yourself
- Keep it out of reach of children
